Hi all,
I just got this clarinet recently and it's very interesting.. it's got the normal Buffet logo on both joints, and nothing below the logo on the top joint. It does not have the "Made in France" under the top joint logo like my R13. Instead, right above the serial number on the bottom joint, it says "Made in W Germany". The serial number is 242424.
I assume it's not a professional clarinet since it's not made in France. But I have always thought that anything but an R13 would have the model name printed under the logo. Is that not true?
Any thoughts of what this is?

If it's wood, it's an E11.
That seems to be an early serial number for them, so probably from the time the wooden Evette became the E11 (around 1985-6) and maybe they forgot to stamp the model number on it or didn't have the E11 stamp back then.
