Hi all,
I play a full Boehm clarinet that I bought in the Czech Republic a few years ago. It is only marked "Special made in Czechoslovakia." I know that there are some extra fingerings which standard Boehms cannot play, and I was wondering whether anyone knows of a fingering chart which covers the full Boehm system. Also, does anyone have any ideas on where to buy a new case for it?
Thank you very much for your help.

Robin - I dont believe I've ever seen a F B chart, but you've prob. found all the alternates and the low Eb/Bb 5th Rt. L F touch on your [Kohlert?] horn by now. If not, on my 2 FB's I find the L LF alt. Ab/Eb the most useful, followed by the "fork" Eb/Bb [raise the L middle finger from the middle C fingering] and the artic. C#/G# [yours prob. has the LJ 2nd "sliver" key- better for trills]. I found the low Eb great for the end of "Stardust" [and of course transposing A to Bb clar.], the middle Bb can be useful in "crossing the break" at times. Others have prob. said these things better than here, hope your "system" is same as mine!! Luck, Don

Thank you, Don, for helping me out! I have found the left hand Ab/Bb extremely useful, and the low Eb is good for A clarinet parts and for Peter and the Wolf. Thank you especially for suggesting that my clarinet is a Kohlert. I had been trying to figure out what it might be, but I have very little to go on. It does have a nice sound and is well in tune up to A above the staff.
