 desktop digital keyboard required

I am looking for a very small keyboard to put on my desk to help with pitching (for voice as well as clarinet) - so it has to be accurate! Can anyone help with ideas? My previous teacher recommended a roll up version, but I am a bit dubious...

Is it imperative that it is a keyboard? Perhaps maybe you just need a tone generator. I think it may be cheap, if not free to do it this way.
