...<breathing deeply>... there are many threads about instruments, which one to choose and what to obey, what to avoid, and, in all the buzz of names and models and makers, without two of them, at least clarinetistry wouldn't be where it is today.
In all modesty, I'd like to thank Mr. Bundy and Mr. Pascucci for seeding musicality to countless children and adults alike. Without their efforts or visions re affordability at little compromise, many of us wouldn't be where they are today.
<cue fanfare>
I don't mind them being business people glancing at revenue figures - commercial ambitions don't necessarily preclude cultural or social advancement. (in fact, the former requires and at the same time fosters the latter)
