Can someone please recomend a reputable repair tech in Sydney Australia. Stephen Giordano unfortunatelly is fully booked out until the start of February of the new year.
I had my clarinet repaired (required a couple of pads) by a shop in Camperdown, Sydney and they did a horrible job. I took it back but the lady tech basically suggested that was the best she could do because apparently for it to be perfectly in tune all pads should be replaced which didn't sound right to me. Since then I have been having problems with a few of the keys which are at times impossible to play. The clarinet was in perfect shape prior to the repair apart from the pads.
Worst case I will wait until start of February, but would appreciate any recomendations.

Yes I know I am a bit ( read "A LOT") late on this one, but I had to make sure you knew of us.
Okay, we are predominantely known for our Flute work, as we do flute repairs for professional players from all over Aus. But we do other woodwind too. Infact Martin Kelleher and myself both started out making clarinets.
We would love to help out with anyones clarinet problems ( and Sax , for that matter).
We pad in Tradition, gortex and where applicable, cork. we have a full machine shop for those problems others shy away from.
Make a booking and you are given a quick, guaranteed, turn around.
We take great pride in doing the highest level of work possible.
