I want the fatboy barrel in cocobolo for my e11 A clarinet. I don't want to order the barrels (i need trial barrels) directly from Canada as international shipping cost more than the barrel itself. are Fatboy barrels consistently similar to each other or does one sound completely different? Also my mom insists that I get chadash, but I told her it's too resistant and it doesn't feel right to me (i have chadash for my r13), so I heard good reviews that the fatboy cocobolo is an easy to play barrel.

Google him and you will find his website. He has some sellers in the USA that stock his barrels and will allow you to try them. All you have to do is ask him. ESP eddiesclarinet.com

If you have a credit card you could talk to some suppliers and ask to try 5 or so at different lengths. Then send back the ones you don't want and they will charge you accordingly, such as buying one or 10.

Maybe try that auction site that shall be without a name. Some of the dealers allow trials and returns.
You might even find some alternative that suits you, or a dealer who is willing to tweak the bore for you to less resistance.
Usually select "ending soonest" to search for bargains, and enter "clarinet barrels" in the search, otherwise you will find rain, beer, and rifle barrels.
