I've got a set of Toscas, and I'm looking to buy some shorter barrels for when it gets really cold. I'm looking for a couple 64mm and another 65mm, but none of the dealers I'm seeing have Tosca Greenline barrels. Any help?

Contact the dealers directly. They should be able to order anything from Buffet.

I have to ask though, do you really need your barrels to be greenline too? I know a lot of people who use Chadash and Muncy barrels on their Greenline horns and prefer it that way.

If you want a synthetic, consider the Chedeville barrels in hard rubber. Although they are designed for 2 types of Buffets, they can be modified for Tosca (slight bore change).
You can also consider synthetics by other makers--just to be fair and not overly commercial. Some are diamondwood type material, delrin, abs, etc.
Disclaimer .....I have a monetary relationship with the manufacturer of Chedeville barrels, and I was involved in the design. Thus far, however, I have not become one of the 1% being protested against by OWS (shucks!)

I'm really just looking for a shorter version of the barrels that came with my Greenline Toscas. I've experimented heavily with other barrels, and I've not found anything that suits my playing better than what came with my instrument.

To the clarinet repair techs out there...
Is having his current barrel shortened a mm or 2 a viable option? Would it afford him the tonal benefits of his current barrel and just affect the overall pitch a bit?
