I am playing the Beach Symphoniue E minor (Gaelic) on bass clarinet. The opening entrance of the bass in the third movement hasn't sounded right at rehearsal and it doesn't seem to match pitch-wise what I'm hearing on a recording. The rest of the piece I'm spot on. was just wondering if this hrase was somehow not written in A as the rest of the piece. My part is from the Luck Library.
Thanks for any help, suggestions.

You can check your part against the score, which is at IMSLP, assuming that downloading a 38 MB file isn't prohibitive, though I'm supposing you might have done that already. The 3rd movement begins on page 125. Which notes in particular sound wrong?

Yes it does match the score but is NOT what I've heard on the recording and it sounds WRONG. It is measures 3-5. The conductor agrees that the written part is wrong. Have a regeaersal tomorrow and we're going to try a couple different changes. This is the only time that particular melody line is written that way on any part in the whole piece.
