Are any of the recent, past couple of years, Buffet beginner clarinets being made in China?
Thanks so kindly.

Tough question. The B12 model was made in Germany by Schreiber for many years but shifted somewhere else a few years ago. I honestly don't know where they are being made now. Buffet does contract a Chinese company to make keys for one of their E11 models so I would say it's a good bet the B12 is currently made in China.
However, it should be mentioned that the Buffet B12 is also one of the most counterfeited clarinets in the world. Ebay is constantly flooded with fake versions and it is really easy to get burned if you don't know what to look for.
