If there's absolutely nothing on the clarinet except the serial number, it could mean that a store purchased instruments that the manufacturer intended to be stencilled with a store's own brand name, but for some reason this particular store didn't engrave or stamp a name. Or maybe the factory itself sold older, unbranded instruments at auction, after replacing this model with a new one or even going out of business. In those cases, the clarinet might be a good one, a bad one or anything in between -- the only way to know is to play it.
It's also possible the clarinet is a "marriage" of parts that originally came from different brands of instrument. Different manufacturers put their company logos in different places. Some manufacturers only put the brand name on one section. For instance, maybe someone got rid of a barrel that had cracked. The barrel had the brand name. The person replaced it with a barrel from an instrument that had the brand name on some other part.
"Marriages" happen a lot when school clarinets get damaged. Maybe one clarinet has a cracked barrel (very common, and also a very common place for manufacturers to put the brand name) while a different clarinet has a broken key, etc.. The band teacher will make one whole clarinet out of two or three messed-up ones. Sometimes the result can be a decent player, but usually not.

If the horn in question is a plastic clarinet with a shiny finish on the body, it is very likely to be an old Vito or Bundy. The maker's mark on some of these was a decal which wore off over time.
