 Uhl etude no. 42

Hey everyone,

I'm preparing Uhl etude no. 42 for an upcoming exam and have a question concerning one particularly odd trill.

I'm looking at the 2nd bar of the 2nd last line on the first page. The bar with 8th notes, Gb trill with no other note specified. Normally I'd keep it within the key, and trill from Gb to A natural and there is an A natural in the same bar - it just sounds really weird. Gb to Ab sounds like it fits the bar better, but I'm yet to find an in tune trill fingering to do this quickly besides the standard left hand fingerings.

What note would you trill to in this bar and how would you do it!?

Many thanks,

2E
