Clarinet Dissertations Online

For AMS members, there's a lively discussion about free access to dissertations online. The following sites seem interesting:

The British Library is scanning dissertations and making the PDFs freely available on-line. https://ethos.bl.uk./Logon.do
The site requires free registration. Also, you must click through a warning that it’s unregistered. I found 12 items with "clarinet" in the title, 5 of which have been scanned http://ethos.bl.uk./SearchResults.do;jsessionid=0CAA2372F54532D51DF1637C593D403E, and several of which look quite interesting.

The Thumper site has 300 items, but many of them are not be freely downloadable. http://thumper.vtls.com:6090/search/query?term_1=clarinet&theme=system

University Microfilms certainly has much material, at a substantial price.

There are certainly other sources. It would be a great service if someone could add to these or even put together a list.

To locate such dissertations, try http://worldcat.org; specify an Advanced Search and then specify Content as Thesis/Dissertations.

After locating an item, your local public or academic library might be able to get it for you.
