I have a new student-a little kid with an Excelsior eefer. The tip of his mouthpiece was broken off and glued back on with big globs of glue inside the mouthpiece. He manages to get a sound but I can barely make it play! None of my mouthpieces will fit in the barrel, the tenon is way too small. Does anyone have a small eefer mouthpiece sitting in their junk drawer that they'd be willing to part with?

Why not open up the tenon socket in his barrel to accept standard mouthpieces? There was recently a thread on the many ways to do that, regarding a bell tenon socket (same principles apply). My method was the best, by the way (I say that with complete impartiality and total lack of untoward braggadocio).
