I had a great time at this yesterday. Heard some great music and learned more about my former teacher and 1st chair clarinetist in the Detroit Symphony. I was able to meet and spend time with some people I had only read about on this BB. Among those attending were the very personable, Mark Charette and his wife. Two former clarinet students of Herb Couf performed a duet at this event. I am pictured with Larry Liberson and John Moses. Anyone who reads this BB knows of John Moses. Larry Liberson has made a career playing with the Detroit Symphony. Two out of the three of us went on to do great things with the clarinet. Not a bad percentage! Even though I am not in their league, they made me feel like I was. Truly wonderful people! (This is my 2nd attempt to upload a couple of pics.)
