Hi All:
I am flying to Detroit Metro on Sat., Sept. 17th for 3 days. I will be playing and speaking at an event honoring the memory of my former Clarinet teacher, Herbert Couf, who passed away in June. On Sun. at 1:30-4:00pm, there will be a concert performed by Detroit Symphony musicians and Faculty & students from Wayne State University. The concert will be at The Community House, 380 South Bates Street, Birmingham, MI 48009, all are welcome!

Thanks for your interest in Herb's Memorial Concert. I'm hoping to see many old friends there & Mark Charette has mentioned he may attend as well!

John, thank you for posting this information. I can't make from Cleveland, but send my best wishes and prayers.
Just last spring, I bought my son a vintage H. Couf alto (one of the Keilhwerth's). Beautiful horn.
