I know this is sacrilege, but you could while away the time with some alto sax pieces until the real thing comes along...

ps - also consider the easy bass clef -> Eb treble clef transposition...cello, bassoon, etc repertoire.

pps - and then the not-so-easy sight-transposition of oboe and violin material.

Check the Composition section here under 2 performers and then find Eb clarinet and piano.

IMHO, Good ones are far and few between, but one I like is Sean Osborn's Sonata for Eb clarinet and piano (1999).

There isnt much repertoire out there.. i remember playing a couple in high school years ago and remember finding them on the state grading list of acceptable pieces for solo and ensemble festival <this was in virginia> Your band director or teacher might have access to it so you could then do a web search from publishers. I did this one that sounded like a polka as i recall and the judges just sat back and laughed the whole time i was playing saying he had never heard anything "so cute" LOL not a term Ive ever heard an Eb described as.... I will go dig through my old music and see if i can find the list. I might have it. Blake Arlington, VA

IMHO, a first-rate piece for Eb clarinet and piano is Easley Blackwood's "Sonatina." Very accessible and not extremely difficult technically. John Bruce Yeh has recorded it and the music is available from Luyben Music in Kansas City (and probably other stores though I don't find it in a quick search of sheet music plus).
