I'm going to be a junior in high school and I've been playing clarinet for five years. I have attended a few honor bands including all-state this summer, but I haven't had private lessons for about two and a half years or so. I would like to start taking lessons again, and I want to have some new material to take my lessons when they begin.
I'm thinking of things along the lines of Klose, Rose, and Baermann; I consider myself to be a proficient player, so it's not as if I'm starting from square one. I just want to continue working on my technique and improving my tone and such.
Any recommendations would be wonderful, and if you want more information, just let me know. Thanks!

I think that you should prepare something to play for your new teacher and then decide with him (or her) what literature or methods would be appropriate for you at this time.......
good luck/gk

I've definitely taken that into consideration.
Is there anything in particular I should ask about though, in regards to etudes/studies?

Any teacher is going to start on Rose to see what kind of player you are. If you whiz through those you can move from the 32 to the 40 or go on to some of the more difficult ones but this is a decision you and your teacher need to make together, not something that a group of players who don't know you or your ability can tell you over the internet.
