I found a great C clarinet by Wurlitzer, took some pics, see here:

Who made this? I think its LP base on the body measurement of 16" or so.
Salt spoon keys, check out the funky key on the lower joint! There's a little rod that actually goes into the body.
I found a good barrel and I think I have the bell in a box here too, gonna build it up.
Any info would be awesome!

Hi Mark,
It looks like a Rudolph Wurlitzer clarinet from Cincinnati in pretty rough shape.
The good news is that it's a good horn to work on, especially if you're new to fixing up instruments.
The bad news: it's not worth much of anything (it wasn't made by either Fritz or Herbert Wurlitzer--the famous German instrument makers).
Anyhow, it looks like a cool project--good luck!
Eric

Well I know Rudolph Wurlitzer didn't actually make instruments, it was a music store that sold instruments by other people, thats why I wondered who actually made it.
It is a fine clarinet to work on, I don't think its actually in that bad of shape really, its dirty, but honestly I've rebuilt some clarinets that have been in far worse shape!!
Anyone know who made this for Wurlitzer?
