Have you tried contacting the folks at BAM? They might be able to modify the case for you to fit your instrument. That would be the first place I would go before complaining about a problem with the case.

The case is a tight fit when you first buy it, but the lining of the case softens very quickly and if it was any looser or softer the case would be useless very quickly. I have had one of these for about three months and it is a great option. The interior is almost exactly the same as the tosca case and they seem to work without any problem. Overall I would suggest that the comments above are not thought out enough for public consumption and I voice my extreme satisfaction with this product.

I love the BAM double case. I have heard that people with the CSG's (with the longer than normal top joint) can get their clarinets to fit. The foam will mold to the shape of the instrument over time.

CSG player with a BAM double here...the foam interior is great, you can actually get the instrument to fit!

For those CSG players that have not gotten a BAM yet, you may be able to have your local BAM dealer order a BAM made for German System clarinets. These ratios are perfect.

Based on recommendations here, I bought the BAM double case. Works well - my CSG fits well. It's a bit bigger than I imagined, though still relatively light. And surprisingly, it doesn't have as much space inside for "toys" as my much smaller Yamaha zippered case, which I beat to death, and which I replaced with the BAM.

Overall, I'm very satisfied with its suitability for the Yamaha CSG.
