Maintenance window on Sneezy.

I will be taking Sneezy down for approximately 4-8 hours next week (between 1/29/2001 and 2/2/2001) for maintenance and final relocation to the new network (parts of the sneezy network have been relocated and the new network has been very reliable).

I may not have a lot of time to notify members before the move since it involves coordination of a few people - that's why the notification now.

For those of you who have websites on Sneezy - the websites will be down during this time, too.

Sorry for the interruption of service.

Mark,
Does this mean that the email service will be down as well? If so, it will not affect me too much since I will be in travel mode back from Australia during much of this time!

Yes, the email will be down - but - the mail shouldn't bounce. An alternate mail server is running as a secondary system, and it will store all mails and then send them to Sneezy when Sneezy's back online.
