Is there any ETA as to when MissLonelyParts.com is going to be up and running? I was excited to hear about it!

Jo,
I don't have the answer to your question, but if there are a few specific parts you're currently looking for, let me know --- I have a bunch of clarinet and saxophone parts in my 'basement shop' and maybe I can help out until MLP gets off the ground.

Ditto to Dave's post, Jo -
MissLP looks like one of those great ideas that never got off the ground.
Did you come up with the MissLP idea, Dave? - it was a good one :)
There are a few of us 'do-it-yourselfers' who hang out here, picking up and sharing tips and tidbits and stuff....
If you'll just post something here about the parts you're looking for, Jo, (or e-mail privately) I'm pretty sure one of us will come up with something from the 'spare parts bin' to help you out. In the meantime, if enough posts come in it might prompt MissLonelyParts to create some closet space for that.
So many people have, over the years, shared, borrowed, traded and given as favors - to me - parts and stuff... well, I'd be happy to do the same.
Many techs, once you get to know them, are more than happy to help out this way (as long as it doesn't interfere with their regular business, of course).

Double ditto to Dave and Ron 's posts. I have a few junkers and Carl McGuire in Tulsa has an inherited collection which on occasion he allows me to sort thru. Glad to help. Don

I've been wandering about this too as I'm getting a good collection of cadavers that might be useful to someone. Plus there's a few parts I need as well.

MissLonelyParts is mine (and my idea ;^) I've been working too many hours at my regular job to get it going right (it's about 80% ready, but as everyone knows - the devil's in the details).

Hopefully before the end of Feb. I'll announce here when it's ready, and hopefully a bunch of you will pounce on it so it looks busy right away!
