One of my students is playing in a very good youth orchestra. Their first concert, in a few weeks, includes the Rachmaninov Symphonic Dances (first movement only). She is making a valiant effort at reading bass clef plus A transposition, but life would be simpler if we could find a transposed treble clef bass clarinet part.
I wonder if anyone reading this post could possibly have said part that we could access as a PDF file? We'll both be eternally grateful!

Larry, this doesn't exactly answer your question (and I'm probably not suggesting anything you haven't already thought of), but my Drapkin excerpts book has the important licks from this work, and there's barely a half page of music that would need to be transposed. Your student could easily write out this much music in a couple of hours, I would think. I'd be happy to scan and email you the page from the book if you don't already have a copy.

Thanks, Dave, but if your Drapkin book is the same volume as mine it doesn't solve the bass clef problem -- student already has the orchestra part. Still hoping someone has a treble clef -- already transposed version.

I'd seen -- and used -- this resource before, but was unable to retrieve it. I emailed Mr. Sherrill; hopefully my quest is over.
As a rule, I require my bass clarinet students to master bass clef as a part of their regular curriculum. This young student had too many other issues to deal with before getting to the clef issue.
Once again, BBoard to he rescue!
