I know this is a bit early, but who could miss seeing Ricardo play the Copland Concerto with the Philly Orchestra? Not to mention under the baton of Marin Alsop.

Wow--the Copland Concerto. They arn't mak'n it easy for him to leave Philly, are they?? Then, for Ricardo, the Copland is probably not much more than a warm up excercise. I'm certain it will be magnificient and he will be free to "move about the country" as he chooses--New York Phil next on his orchestral bucket list.........(at times, it almost seems he has one, lol)

I'll be there. Can't miss it and anyway, it'll be nice to see one more concert in Philly before Ricardo comes and I'm only at the NY Phil.

Shame about Alsop. A decent conductor who hasn't bought their way into the spotlight would have this concert truly excellent.
