This was broadcast today on the ABC, the Australian national broadcaster. It's a discussion of a new clarinet quintet by Graeme Koehne (now why did I type that out again?) and I hope you find it interesting.
'The Music Show', from which this segment comes, is broadcast weekly and has been for over 15 years. It covers an extremely wide range of music from country to clarinet quintets. I like it and can recommend it to non-Australian listeners.

Now the other thing. I'm looking for reassurance. Yesterday I had a bit of an accident and today my dentist told me that I'm going to lose my front four teeth and they will be replaced by a plate with dentures. I weakly muttered from that position that dentists have you in, 'but ... clarinet ... '. And then things started happening that you don't want to know about.
I am an amateur and there is no loss of livelihood involved but there may can be a great deal of pleasure and ancillary sense of self at stake. Please reassure me that embouchure and dentures are not mutually exclusive. I put this in a light-hearted fashion but, believe me, I'm worried.
Many thanks,
Tony

I don't know the answer to your denture question, but why don't you start a thread with an appropriate title so people who might help don't pass you by....

The purpose of the thread was to alert people to new music being written for clarinet and discussed in by a national broadcaster. Even I think my teeth come second to that.
