I have in my possesion a marvellous recording of Spohr Concertos No1+2. It is by Antony(spelt erroneously Anthony on the record cover) Pay with the London Sinfonietta. I love the Leister version of these Concerti but IMHO this recording has greater momentum, life, verve etc....(words don't really express what I am trying to say). My problem is I only have this recording on record and my turntable is defunct. Does anyone know If a CD version is available and,if so, where could I get it. The number on the recording is:ZRG920.
Another artist I admire is Guy Deplus. If anyone knows of the location of any of his recordings on CD please let me know. I have tried amazon.com but it seems a little sparce in this department. I used to have a recording of his of Stravinsky's Three pieces.Brilliant playing. Unfortunately I leant is to one of my noble students and never saw it again.I would be greatful for any help.
Thanks Chris.

Heck, just go to just about any good junktique shop or garage sale and pick up a good turn table. I recently got an Audio Tecniques turn table with matching amp. and cassett recorder for 5 bucks each from a guy who had gone all CD. A lot of good music can still be found on those vinyl LPs and it isn't available on CD.

...or, just find someone to burn you a CD. If you don't know anybody with the right gear, try looking around in the DJ/dance/rave/"substances" scene - those guys are into vinyl. Perhaps look through the ads at the back of appropriate "street" rags.
