A friend will go to the States next week and she can buy some accesories for me (reeds, swabs, and so on).
Do you know good clarinet's stores in the area (San Francisco, CA), their address and phone?

There is one just out side of San Francisco that my High School band director recomended, "Best Music in Oakland" that are at 1716 Broadway in Oakland. There phone number is 1-800-821-3557. Good luck!

I've been to Best Music (www.bestmusic.4the.net I think) and they do have a very fine staff and selection. The blond lady really knows clarinets (she plays and understands.) You can get there on BART (bay area rapid transit, Best is about fifteen feet from the Bart enterance) from SF. It would probably be an adventure of at least two hours duration, since Oakland is on the other side of the SF Bay. I have found the neighborhood just a little threatening, being a very sheltered person, I would not want to take the train over after dark anyway.
I plan on looking into House of Woodwinds also in Oakland soon (510) 834-2425 I think. Forrest's Music in Berkeley (next town north of Oakland) sounds like an double reed heaven, but they may have some clarinet stuff.
There are some music shops in SF proper, but I don't know any of them.
