Dino Anagnost, conductor in NYC, dies.
Author: John J. Moses
Date:   2011-04-01 04:46

Sadly, Dino Anagnost, the conductor of one of NYC's finest chamber orchestras, died on March 30th.
I played for Dino and was a good friend of his for 25+ years. His early death is a huge loss to music for young people, many musicians who worked with him, and the NYC music scene.
The Little Orchestra Society will continue in his honor. Our many recordings will remain his legacy.
