"Any ideas on why he isn't using his Toscas?"
Isn't he using them until Chadash finishes making the clarinet? For someone like Frost isn't it likely he can devote his resources to commissioning a fine instrument WITHOUT needing a good reason to?
So he receives the Chadash clarinet (if it's being made), plays it for a few weeks, and then decides whether it's better than his Toscas. If he doesn't like it then he sells it off to anyone who would love to own a Chadash clarinet designed for Frost at full price.
Whether he switches or not I doubt we'll be able to tell the difference.
Seems like a no risk, no drama story. Glad to hear Chadash has the business if it's true.

I'm glad to hear that! While Guy and I are no longer business partners, I hope that his clarinet-making business does well.

A while back, he told me that since I did the actual work on the mouthpieces, I should eventually buy him out. In the middle of last year, I did. He still invites me to work on mouthpieces at his studio.

I just read the original post again, do you mean you want us to help you think up some rumors?
