 New Vandoren M/O Gold Ligature
Author: Fantasia Buffet R13

Has anyone acually tried it out and if so, what did you think of it? I want to purchase the M/O gold ligature but cannot seem to find out how. Is there a website?...Because I cannot find one. The Vandoren website does not acually have a way to purchase one (from what I can tell). Thanks for your help.

Sorry for the double post.

I don't think they have been released yet in the US market. I would wait until someone has tried one before spending money on accessories that may not have any effect on your sound.

You may also want to be sure that it will fit "other" mouthpieces besides the Master's Series since Vandoren is making such a big deal about these being made for each other.

I had the oportunity to try them at Howarth of London and see they now advertise them on the website. I was impressed by the ligature,(especially the Pewter) but a little similar to the BG Tradition and not the kind of thing I like, I'll stick with my BG Super rev for the moment!

From what I read in the VD asd, it looks like there are two different ligatures: one for the masters mouthpieces, and one for the general mouthpiece population.
