You'd be disappointed - they sound just like any other clarinet. At least there's nothing "metallic" about them; many being "student class" instruments, they sometimes suffer from funny intonation and so, but not inherently differently from wooden or plastic instruments.

When I listen to the musical excerpts on the clarinette-metal.fr site and I hear a differences between the George Lewis and the Birger Lindstrom clips, am I hearing the difference between Albert and Boehm systems (along with the differences in the players, of course)?
