 Flute, clarinet and piano trios
Author: Jonathan

Hi all!
Thanks to Sneezy I've found a great list of trios for flute, clarinet and piano.
I don't know all the compositors, but there are some I do and I like their styles.
There is:
-Two trios, in D major (n°1) and in A minor (n°2) by CPE Bach;
-Aria by Jacques Ibert;
-Sonatine en trio, op.85, by Florent Schmitt.
Has anyone here played one of these trios?
Which grade is it (BTW, does anyone here know the correspondence between the french grades and the U.S. because I'm totally lost)?
Thanks in advance, and please forgive my terrible English ;-)

Hello,

I have not played either of these, but "Beneath the Linden Tree" by Morten Gaathaug is a wonderful piece of music. It really shows off the musicianship of all three instruments, especially the pianist.
