We are playing this in clarinet ensemble. I'm having trouble warming up to it. atleast its hard to tell when a wrong note is played.
curious as to what others think of this piece.
anyone else find it challenging and difficult to follow?
is there a good recording of this piece. maybe if i could hear how its 'supposed' to go i would like it better.

Welcome to contemporary music. When I was a student, a long time ago, my quintet tried to sight read the Schoenberg Wind Quintet. After about ten minutes into it we realized that we were miles apart, so we had another beer and tried it again. It got much better after about 3 beers, at least we didn't care.
