Where's the cheapest place i can get a Vandoren B40 Lyre 13 series with a good return policy if i don't like it? Also, which offers better control and makes reeds feel harder? B40 or B40L?

B40 Lyre is more resistant for me than the regular model. Somebody may have other opinion.

I would try either Muncy Winds or Weiner Music. Both have great prices and a great trial/return policy. I am extremely pleased with Muncy's customer service. I just haven't dealt with Weiner enough to give a solid opinion, but have bought stuff from there and they have great prices. I think you'd be satisfied with either one.

I would go to Wright music.

They have good prices and customer service is terrific. If you can make it out to Long Island you can try all you want right there.
MuncyWinds is also a great place.
