I use a Mitchell Lurie "Springboard" for Eb Clarinet.
This ligature has a stupendous general response.
With some of this, is posible to feel too free, and
I have been able to experience with cork until guetting some extraordinary results.

I have a Bonade inverted for bass clarinet. They don't seem to make a cap for it, however. I haven't been able to find anything special for alto clarinet and just use a stock metal ligature.

the only extensive source of ligatures I can think of for the bass and alto are from BG. I use a BG super revelation lig for bass.

The only contra-alto ligature I have seen is the stock matal ligature.

I think one of my Bass ligatures is a Bonade. (It looks like fake-leather and has a thumb-screw on top.) It either came with, or had as an optional accessory, a plastic cap that fits over the ligature.

I obtained a Selmer Contra Bass mouthpiece, and had to special-order a mouthpiece cap and ligature from Selmer. It took quite a while to get the ligature.

I'm not aware of any other kinds of ligatures for Contra. I wonder if it is possible to splice a piece into the Bass Bonade?

I wonder if the baritone Sax ligature would fit a contra-alto, since the contra-alto uses Bari sax reeds. the seem more choice for bari sax ligature.
like wise for bass-sax and contra bass clarinet??

I didn't like the stock ligature that came with my Leblanc contra-alto, so I bought a Rovner ligature and cap.

For bass clarinet ligatures, I use both the Vandoren inverted metal ligature (about $25), and/or the Rovner fabric inverted ligature (similar price). I like them both a lot, and on any given day I might use either one. I use the same type ligatures on B-flat clarinet and tenor sax also.

I personally prefer the Winslow ligature for Alto sax and bigger (Tenor, Bass clarinet, bari, bass sax)

I believe you are talking about Rovner (or possibly BG). Bonade ligatures are metal.

Daniel-

You're right! I stopped by a local music store today, and looked in one of their distributor's catalogs. In line with SeAn's original request, I found a Rovner ligature listed for the BBb Contra Bass Clarinet. It is their model 4RL, per the Harris-Teller wholesale catalog.

I didn't check about caps. It certainly would be a big one for a Rovner on a BBb Contra Bass.
