I'm trying to find any info on a clarinet that I own. The markings are a oval with a smybol ontop of the oval, inside it says Paris, EVETTE, then France. On the bottom outer part of the oval it reads,"made by Buffet Crampon" There is the numbers SK244 marked on both post. The mouthpiece has the same look but with the words Paris, Crampon & Cie, France also on the lower part of the mouthpiece down towards the cork is France and a C. Thank-you for any help with this.

I have one of these horns, the serial number on mine is SK459. It is identical in every way to the D-serial numbered Evettes. I have no idea why some of these have the "SK" prefix, but I'd be interested in finding out. These and the D-serial Evettes are very nice clarinets, made in France and I like them a lot. They are definitely worth fixing up!
