It would appear that the new vandoren ligature is their masters ligature with a single screw from the optimum.
Anyone interested in trying this or does this just seem like a slight modification?

Well, there seems to be half of the marketing missing from Vandoren's website. This ligature is a supposed "match" for the new Master's Mouthpiece.
Where is it? I thought TMEA was over.

Looks like the Vandoren Masters mouthpiece will have a different shape to traditional mouthpieces possibly:

No word about the mouthpieces yet. Ligatures look like a combination of previous products (woo hoo).
Curious to see the mouthpiece design. I'm assuming they're using the same rubber. I'm interested to see how "different" or "better" they can make a mouthpiece without pricing themselves out of their normal clientele, 75 dollar mouthpieces.
