They haven't answered me and now it's couple of weeks since I posted to them and I really don't like how you have to do it.
You have to search through dozens of questions and then you have to pick some department and I never really know what department to pick and such.
I just can't seem to find in the 2011 version where to change the pitch. Does anyone know if it's still available or not and/or how to change it in this new version?
I'm also really disappointed as it's not in my opinion as user friendly as it used to be and it's more of a school program than plain accompaniment and I haven't seen them in 3 years of my use of the program putting any new work in for clarinet other than student materiel.
I only wish that they had such program for European market that would work with Sibelius because it's ridiculous to get Finale when 95-98% of all musicians and schools here in Iceland uses Sibelius.

Why should MakeMusic give up the advantage they have with Finale simply because it inconveniences you?
What do you think would be reasonable for Sibelius to pay to be able to engage with Smartmusic in the same way? MakeMusic isn't going to give it away I don't think.
Smartmusic as a program and business is currently facing it's own devils: they have more business than they know what to do with and lots of details to fix.
I wouldn't ever anticipate their addition of new clarinet works to the accompaniment repertoire without a huge amount of grassroots demand from us...their business IS the American education system. Many band pieces are being added frequently.
My apologies that I don't know how to resolve the pitch issue. You'd have better luck finding an answer if you were to post to the help forum instead of sending them an email. Calling them works as well, but you have to manage it within their business hours.

A friend who is more fluent with Smart Music than I wrote this to me:
"I found under preferences an "advanced settings" drop down menu that allows you to input the value for A to between 400 and 480. That should be plenty."
Let me know if this works out.

I think that Iceland is talking about transposing an entire section up or down, right?

I think he's talking about A=440 vs A=444.

No kdk was right thanks.
In the 2010 version you were able to alter the pitch in the tuner but obviously not in the 2011 version.
I just think settings and adjustments are not as easily accessible as before.
I liked the old version much much better

In many respects I agree with you Iceland. My use of SM is primarily for my private studio and a small band program I direct, and the improvements to the educator's tools are pretty good.
