I got a flyer in the mail today about a new mouthpiece Vandoren is unveiling at TMEA called the Vandoren Master Clarinet Mouthpiece. Does anyone have any insider knowledge as to what's so special about this new design?

Maybe to coincide with the new ligature they're releasing called the M|O or Masters/Optimum ligature that was debuted at NAMM. I'm interested in trying it, but basically it takes the clamp/screw design from the optimum ligature and the reed pressure points from the master's and combined it into one with some different plating options. I currently use their leather ligature with the metal pressure plate. As far as this new mouthpiece design goes, we'll just have to wait and see what comes out of TMEA.

All I know is the mouthpiece will be presented in march and it's 'completely a new design and it's revolutionary'.
They made me curious what revolutionary whey can come up with. Anyway we don't have to wait much at least.
