now that ive been playing alto clarinet for a while i ntioced that after play for a while my lip get sore and i have to stop playing for a minute i feel like i need to hold the MP up mith my mouth because of the angle and it realt bugs so should i hold my lip out or tuck it in

If your lip is sore because it is being cut by your teeth, you should check your lip position with your teacher. The tissue on the inside of the mouth heals quickly even when bruised or cut by teeth. There are thin plastic guards one can buy to prevent this. If it is the muscles around your mouth that are sore, you could have the wrong position, or just be playing too long.

When I wanted to toughen up my lip and facial muscles, I spent some time holding my two lips together with firm pressure from upper and lower teeth.

Again, you could be playing too long at a stretch.
