 Restoring a snake skin case

Any ideas how to make the exterior of a Selmer mark vi tenor case look a bit better? It is finished in snake skin and dates from the 1950s. I'd like to clean it and treat it in order to bring it back to life again. Help!

Take it to a good repair tech. They generally know how to care for cases.
