Included with a Vito V-40 clarinet I recently purchased was a Woodwind Co. Steel Ebonite W45 mouthpiece. Compared to the WW Steel Ebonite G8 I have, the tip is slightly more open; the end rail is much thinner, the lay/side rails/window are alike, and the table is a little thinner at the tenon end.
This model isn't in my Conn-Selmer catalogue; I can't find any specifications anywhere for the mouthpiece, and was wondering if anyone here had the tip opening measurement.
Both the G8 and W45 are nice players...it's an unexpected bonus to buy a pre-owned clarinet with a mouthpiece that is actually worth playing.
