Have had a marvelous time last week during our annual Composer's Festival, this time featuring Steve Reich. His music is a new experience to me and I'm overwhelmed by it's power. For a week we have wallowed in it with great satisfaction.
I had the pleasure of participating in "Tehillim," "City Life" and "Music for 18 Musicians."

I have heard the '"Music for 18 Musicians" 6 years ago. I bought a CD with Hungarian performers and the Amadinda percussion group. It's amazing. The composer's note: 'You have fulfilled my dream'. The other work I know written by him is You are-variations. I love his music. It's pure and compelling.
