Hey everybody! I am going to play bass-clarinet in on Mahler the 6. symphony but have one problem. In the music sheets it`s written for both Bb and A. Is there anyone out there who has music only written in Bb. When it`s fast my brain don`t transpose any good from A to Bb. So if anybody have the music could you send me an copy? My e-mail adress is stig@aarskog.com. I live and study in Norway, Oslo.
have a nice day.......stig

The symphony bass players I know just write it out on staff paper. It is a pain, but better than worrying about transposition mistakes.

Stig,

You could get a software program such as Noteworthy Composer to transpose the music and print out a nice neat copy for yourself.
