I am a college student looking to purchase a quality A Clarinet. Looking to further my studies and move on to a professional career. Prefer an R13 or an older RC. Please contact me if you know of where I can find one. Budget is small-I only have $1500-1800. Trying to keep already increasing loans as low as possible. Thanks!

there's a Buffet Festival A in the Classifieds. Might want to converse with the seller.
DISCLAIMER: I know nothing about the seller and have no interest in the instrument or the sale thereof.

EDIT:Sorry, I misread the asking price. It was more than you wanted to
spend.

On the other hand, Walter Grabner has a used R13 A for $1850 on his website:
http://www.clarinetxpress.com Look under RESTORED INSTRUMENTS. It's out on trial now, but who knows?

Check with some of the teachers around here. Eileen Young had a clarinet for sale not too long ago. I'm not sure if it was Bb or A. You can find her on her facebook page or WFU website. Since you're not that far away, I'd call Muncy too. They might have something up that way as well.
