Well...It's that time of year again. You know, the time of year when all eligible students are sweating bullets. It's
ALLSTATE TIME!!!
*LOL* Newayz, I'm going for tryouts tomorrow. I think I've pretty much got everything under control (and they'll stay under control I think...except my nerves which will run away from me in some audition room) so wish me luck.
Lotsa love,
kaosAngel

Anthony Mielleo.. hmm.. Any Relation to Steven Mielleo ? My director is in his " Miello" phase now.. So far we have done just about every function chorale, have played Timestorm, Festival of Light and Oh Come Holy Night.. I wonder what other Miello stuff we have upcomming.
anyways - Nicole, you'll do fine, just try to stay calm..Good Luck - let us know how it goes !

Nicolle:
You will be in competiton with the best in your state. Congratulations for getting this far. Don't lose your cool by hearing the others play. Do what you have planned and know that you can do it and you will!
Best of Luck!!

"We don't do luck, we do AllState" - me today
Well...it went better than last year, and I had a little bit of a technical problem with my clarinet, but I think I did pretty well. I kinda bombed sightreading, but I was told that of all they'd heard, only 2 did well. My nerves didn't overtake me until I got into the last room-sightreading. But I'm satisfied with myself. Oh, and I'm in South Carolina.
Lotsa love,

Hey I never said I made All-State...I'm just saying...that's what I told everyoen (including myself) who got nervous. I'm WAITING AND WAITING AND WAITING etc. for the results to be posted....I'll be happy making Regionals this year. I decided not to sweat it this year, and to have fun! So maybe I won't make All-State, but at least I didn't go crazy over it and I fun in the process.
Lotsa love,
kaosAngel
