Where can I find the music for this? Or is the performer improvising?- I dont see him using any music.. either way- he is very good!

It says it is Bach's Chromatic Fantasy. There are several transcriptions of this since it is originally for piano. Gustave Langenus did one and I think Stanley Hasty may have done one.

Wow, just wow... playing that from memory- he also looks VERY young.. who on earth is this boy?? I thought I was up to date with all the big clarinet stars.. i guess not.. Does he play in an orchestra somewhere? Or have any CDs out?

Sam Boutris is at Curtis studying with Montanaro now. He wasn't when the recording was made at the Buffet Seminar this past summer.
He won the soloist competition @ the New England Conservatory last year as a freshman!
Great young talent.
Cool kid too - was also in the X games (sports).
