It is a French word. Pronunciates somewhat like 'la-ru-ju-man'. 't' is soundless.
Unlike English the accent generally exists in the latter part of a word.

Yes , Hiroshi, I'm sure there is an equivalent word to the American-English "enlargement" in every language to describe a very common action-result. My musical terms booklet gives it as It. [with an E on the end] which is the only way I've seen it as a musical marking. Nuff said?? Don
