I have an older wooden clarinet which has "Concert" as its only identifying mark.
Does anyone else have any experience with this brand? Obviously, it's a stencil... but for which company?
It's actually pretty good. I bought it at a store which had several used Evettes, which is what I had planned to buy, but I found I liked this better than any of those, plus it was cheaper. I stopped using it, though, once I got a 1930 Selmer full-Boehm.
Thanks!

As often, pictures help us identifying the instrument's maker.
Details of the keywork (cups and touchpieces, trill keys etc) reveal more than the back side of a barrel, or a ligature.

Thanks. When I get it back from the shop (I'm not holding my breath... this guy is something of a slowpoke) I'll give that a try. Can we post photos on this BB?

I have a Concert Bb that my brother acquired for me at a garage sale in Los Angeles about 25 years ago. Mine has the following serial number stamped into the wood on the lower back of the second section just about the joint to the bell "76749" and "Made in Germany" on the line below. Since I acquired the horn before the reunification of Germany, I assume that it is pre-1945. For the youngsters reading this, from the end of World War II in 1945 and the reunification of Germany in 1990 exports usually said "Made in West Germany." In the USA, we very rarely had imports from the German Democratic Republic aka East Germany.
The sound is decent enough and the keys work well. The tuning barrel is very tight and squashes down the cork on a Vandoren mouthpiece so much that I have to work on the cork so that it will seal on Buffet R13.
TicTacTux asked for some pics. I have some but having problems attaching them. If you still want them, let me know and I will try again.
