Rabaud-Solo de Concours, Bozza-Italian Fantasy, Baermann-Introduction and Polonaise, Kroepsch-Fantasy on a theme by Weber, Buys-Introduction and Tarantella, Cahuzac-Introduction Theme and Variations, Weber-Introduction Theme and Variations, comes into my mind at first. Both of them are approximately at the same technical level. Have a good hunt.

I think it's more a matter of how well you play than *what* you play. Pick something that you like and then perfect it's performance both technically and musically. One without the other will not be good enough--you must make whatever you play sound easy--"natural" (as in not struggling through the hard parts)--and pleasing to the ear of the listener-adjudicator. Just my thoughts........good luck, nevertheless.

JeanJean-Arabesque, Pendereczki-3 miniatures, Hommages by Béla Kovács, JeanJean-Carneval of Venice...and all I mentioned before.

I suggest them because maybe there are 2 or 3 pieces which not heard often.

It's very hard to find recordings from them BTW.
