 Sanitizing clarinet
Author: leonardA

I recently was a tv news article about a trombone player who had a cough he could not get rid of for 15 years. His doctor found that he had mold and bacteria in his horn and suggested that the player clean it once a week. I am wondering if it would be safe to run a swab through the horn with alcohol or hydrogen peroxide on it, or would that damage a wood clarinet. Any thoughts.
